The
international potluck party was held on March 3rd.
34 people from 6 different countries and 32 Japanese joined the party. The people enjoyed the variety
of foods. They also enjoyed singing songs and playing games during the
party.

Jan.6th |
A
special calligraphy event for the new year took place at the first Japanese
class of 2019. 42 students challenged writing with brushes which they
were
not used to using. They wrote their favorite words with all their heart.

Oct.21th |
The
16th Konnichi World Festival was held at Handa Akarenga Tatemono.
There were 9-country booths.
Many people
visited and enjoyed the international
stage, foods,
and games.

Sep.25th |
We
held a workshop on internationalization
of Handa city. Over 40 people, including city officials,
city councillors, polices,
ward
heads, school teachers, volunteers, shared each other's thoughts.

Sep.9th |
Students in the Japanese class participated in the
disaster prevention workshop.
|
|
|
July.8th |
Students
in the Japanese class learned about a custom of "Tanabata"(Star Festival) .
They wrote on the "Tanzaku" about own wish and attached them to a bamboo
tree by thread. After that we sang "Tanabata" song together.
