Feb.20th

We held an online event on Zoom "Know about the Covid-19, Connect with the world". We connected with people living in the USA, Australia, Bhutan, and Vietnam and heard real opinions on the Covid-19 pandemic by country.

Dec.6th

Small class "Japanese course (read & write, beginner)" has started in December. 22 Brazilians, 14 Vietnamese, 2 Indonesians, 2 Thais and 1 Filipino are studying.

Sep.6th

Small class "Japanese cource (read & write, biginner)" has started. 17 Brazilians, 11 Vietnamese, 2 Indonesians, 1 Thai and 1 Sri Lankan are participating. They are learning to read, write and simple conversations while taking necessary measures for preventing infection.
　

Aug.5th

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of our sister city relations, Port Macquarie, Australia presented a fiber koala to Handa City. A former student of Handa-Higashi High School painted the white koala in "Handa-style". An unveiling ceremony was held at the entrance hall of Handa City Hall.　










The name is “TOMODACHI”
